Yes, this is all too common, even if you properly filed a G-1145. The online system is still full of errors. If you're lucky, it will appear in a month. Most likely, you will never be able to check the status online, even if you submit a service request with USCIS. You can always call the number at the bottom of your receipt notice though.Ask a similar question
Not really typical, but unfortunately more common than one would like to admit. The USCIS online case status system is full of bugs and is only erratically updated, and, as you can see here, often with the wrong information.
