The money that you spent on vacations and personal expenses will not be recoverable. If there is equity in the car that your Husband obtained on the trade in then you would have a claim to at least a portion of that equity. You may also have a claim to some durational alimony depending on your need and his ability to pay. You also have a claim to a portion of any other assets acquired during the marriage. The unfortunate truth is that if there is not much left and he does not earn a decent income there will be very little to get. A consultation with an attorney will helpl determine these details.
