I recently got arrested for domestic violence.. during the time I was getting arrested she told the police that I had drugs and guns in my home which they found.. I was given bond, but for only the domestic charge.. Will they charge me for all the found eventually?
If I could predict things like whether or not the cops are building a case against you then I'd also be able to predict the lotto numbers, in which case, rather than answering your question on AVVO, right about now I'd be basquing on my mega-yacht on the Mediterranean with the Swedish Bikini Team.
The odds are no but anything is possible.
Meantime you were arrested for DV and, unless you plan to foolishly represent yourself (there is a solid reason for Abe Lincoln's age old quote that "he who represents himself has a fool for a client"...) then you need to hire a lawyer.
Perhaps this is a discussion that you should have with your attorney?
Please do not be Honest Abe's fool.
My advise is firm: Hire a lawyer.
Wishing you luck and hoping that I have been helpful in answering your question.
First, second and third: No attorney-client relationship exists by virtue of any Q&A with Michael A. Haber, Esq. on Avvo. Fourth: Anything that you post on Avvo (or on similar sites) or on any social media is by its nature public. It is essentially an admission / confession and can be introduced into evidence as a statement against your interest in a subsequent legal proceeding. Once posted you lose any reasonable expectation of privacy, so, as this is an open forum (with no privilege attached), please be extra careful when considering what to post online (forewarned is forearmed.)
