I just wondering how will looks like a fixed visit schedule in Portland( before divorce is done) if i will ask for temporary custody. Just from your big experience what is the standard schedule which the judges will agree with?( for non custodial temporary parent) . Thank you!
This is a fact dependent answer that really depends on the county you live in. Some counties have no recommended parenting time schedule. You can look on your circuit court's website under the supplemental local rules and see if they have guidelines for you.
In Marion County, rule 8.075 is standard when parents can't agree, It is every other weekend, with a Wednesday visit on off weeks. Weekends can start on Thurs or Fri and end on Sun or Mon, depending on the non custodial parents traditional parenting habits with the kids. It is half the summer and holidays are split. Polk County is similar.
But these cases are fact driven and sometimes there just is not a standard to fit your situation.
