I have a case in St. George, UT and I need to issue several Subpoenas Duces Tecum to Clark County, NV for production of documents. The courts website does not state where I should send the completed forms or whether or not I need to file anything in court. The court rule indicates the court clerk will issue and serve the subpoenas as long as I submit a completed SDT for both jurisdictions along with a cover sheet. But that's about as detailed as the rule gets. Anything would be helpful for this paralegal in St. George, UT.
You can't - that is the reason....you need a lawyer in the sate of Utah to open a file in the Utah court, and then have the subpoenas issued.
