How to get my disability
Both feet got broke September 20 had surgery on right ankle screws and plate stay off 12 weeks but left foot broke on side it's in boot for now not sure if they have to replace bone and have to go to rehab to learn how to walk this will be a year I should be eligible

My condolences you had this health setback. You're right that the disability must have lasted 12 months or expected to last at least 12 months. However, there are numerous factors that affect every case. Your best bet is to apply with a Social Security field office. Or, call a Social Security lawyer to outline a gameplan for your application. Good luck to you!
