I will start out with some basic information. back in July of 2006 i was arrested in arizona for possession of burglary tools. and placed on probation. then i violated probation with (unlawful use of a means of transportation.) i served out 18 months in state prison, and successfully completed my parole. i am wondering what i would need to do in order to have these possibly set aside. I am a hard working person on the right track. I am wondering how to go about getting my civil rights back. ie: right to vote, right to bare arms, right to stand on a jury etc.
First check if there is any County website addressing your question. For instance, you may have some templates available on this website pertaining to sealing of records. You need to go the local police department and get a copy of the SCOPE. Then see if you have fulfilled the time period allocated to each violations. This might be a complex paperwork for you, so I suggest to see a local attorney. I doubt it if they charge you too much. Here, in Las Vegas, an attorney may do all of these things for about $750, but prices may vary.
Only see a licensed attorney before you make any decision. This answer may not be perfect in any given situation. However, more fact may be required by your local attorney
