I filed for FOIA request to get all H1 B documents . I received a CD from USCIS within 45 days . The CD has all information but there is no I797 form . How do i get the I797 form ?
Depends on the reason for the notice. If it is work visa related notice, it belongs to the employer and only the employer can give you a copy.

The FOIA response is only documents that you filed and you are entitled to. The I 797 belongs to the employer and you are not entitled to a copy. Your employer may provide you with a copy.
