I am the victim of domestic violence. My boyfriend got a bond and no contact with me is a condition of his bond. I want the no contact lifted so we can talk about our young daughter. His lawyer brought it up at the first court date and the judge ordered the commonwealth to call me by phone and talk to me and see if i was ok with the order being lifted, and i guess ask me if i am scared or fearful or am being threatened into wanting no contact lifted. I heard about this order for the commonwealth to call me by my boyfriends mom who was at court that day. She said the judge ordered it so they have to call. Its been 2 weeks and they havent called me. I would really like the order lifted so we can communicate. Part of me believes that this is what the judge ordered and part of me thinks the mother made that up. My question is, would or could or have u seen a judge order the commonwealth to call the victim by phone and ask her questions?
Take the initiative and contact the commonwealth's attorney yourself to find out what is going on.
