I submit all the doc the lender needed and they approved my loan with 20% down payment, but from the bank statements we submit, we only have 10% down payment. We already signed the contract with builder. Since we don't have enough down payment, we have to get out of the contract and get the deposit back. Can we force the bank to give us a loan decline letter? Thanks,
I don't know that you will necessarily need to force them to provide you with the letter. Have you contacted them to explain and simply ask for something in writing? Sounds like they were the ones who made the error.
