Baby is 1 year old from infidelity. Mother
is getting more difficult to setup time and place for visitation. Baby was born on July 3rd, mother's having birthday party 18th, 1-5, my visitation day and time. I'm not going, it would be very uncomfortable for my wife and me,and possibly confrontation with mother family. Mother said we are invited, if we don't go I will just miss this visitation, can see her in 2 weeks. Tried to see baby today before work at 6pm for an hour or hour and half, I work nights. Mother didn't even acknowledge request. Asked to see baby 10am - 12 before party turned down again. Had scheduled time to see baby on her birthday for a couple of hours. Wife and I at meet place, 5 minutes before meeting, mother's aunt calls, she's taking mother to ER another missed meeting.
It sounds like you need go go go court and get orders that set out visitation times.
This answer DOES NOT establish an attorney-client relationship. This answer is based on the limited information provided and is not intended to be conclusive advice. There are likely other factors that might influence or change the advice after a more lengthy consultation.
Hire an attorney. File a motion to modify the current order. If you want one of your family members to supervise--take them to the hearing so the Judge can question them. (I know Judges usally don't usually question witnesses--but when a pro se brings a person to court who they want to supervise visitation I have seen Family Judges both queston and admonish (warn) them). Otherwise there are places that charge to supervise visitation.
