I have been legally separated for a year and all the custody, alimony, child support and division of assets was already taken care of at separation. How do I go about finalizing the divorce and what is the cost I should pay for this?
The cost varies from attorney to attorney. If your divorce is uncontested, the least expensive is likely around $395 for everything. There are several NC firms that can handle an uncontested divorce for that amount as a flat rate fee. Once all is said and done, that is also likely less expensive than you can DIY.

Attorney Houser is correct - pricing varies, but most attorneys will do an uncontested divorce for a flat fee. And in general, that fee will be worth it because if you try to do it pro se the chances of making a costly error are great.
