If a neighbor has violated 240.26 on 2 dates by posting harassing signs against another neighbor, how are compensatory and punitive damages calculated against both the neighbor and landlord if those signs referred to the neighbor ad a Jackass and someone who has lost his mind?
This is a Penal Law offense. It is a violation, not a crime. New York does not have a civil cause of action for harassment. Even if you had a case I see no damages.
