How to beat drug trafficing charges
4 attorney answers
There are lots of ways to "beat" a drug charge. There could be 4th amendment implications involving an illegal arrest or seizure. Oftentimes, there are confidential informants with questionable credibility. Further, there are Miranda issues, and even constructive possession issues. This is just some of them and they should all be discussed with an attorney. Feel free to contact me as I practice in Tampa Bay at 813-277-0800.

Every drug case is unique on its facts. There are a multitude of ways to defend any criminal case and drug cases do present a myriad of issues that need exploring. Which way ultimately ends up being the "best" way to attack your friend's case is simply going to depend. Sorry I cannot give a better answer than that, but have your friend call me at 813.453.6396 if he would like to discuss he case in greater detail.

Trafficking charges can take many forms and as stated above, can only be defended by attacking the case upon the facts presented, mistakes by the police in their investigation and/or seizure of evidence. Often times the police fail to obtain a search warrant or obtain one through incomplete or erroneous information. Your friend needs to consult with an experienced local attorney who has handled the type of trafficking offense involved. I prosecuted many, many trafficking cases in 15 years as a Tampa Bay prosecutor. In the 13 years since, I have put that experience to use for my clients. Please feel free to contact me at my office in downtown St petersburg at 727-822-3700. Good Luck,

Whether your friend will be able to beat a drug trafficking charge will depend entirely on the facts of the case. He or she needs to contact a criminal defense attorney as soon as possible as these charges often carry minimum mandatory sentences. If he/she would like to discuss this case further, feel free to have them call my office at 407-590-7079.
