Hi My Company has filed a case (L1-A extension under premium processing ) with USCIS along with my dependents but they can not apply L2 EAD, what is the best way i can apply for L2 EAD? is there any extra document do i need to submit with application and when to submit ? Can i submit right away or do i need to wait when i hear an update on my case from USCIS.
I know L2 EAD is dependent on my L1 A petition but as EAD process is time consuming as my spouse is currently working. Is there any way can i submit EAD document right away to avoid any gap in my spouse work.
Since the L-1 extension was filed under premium processing, it would make sense for you to wait for the L-1 approval before you submit the application for your EAD. In addition to your personal documents, you will need copies of the I-797 Approval Notice of the L-1 status of your spouse and your marriage certificate.

A person in the US in L2 status may file the I-765 with the L2 extension or L2 receipt.
