My license are suspended in Georgia, have been for six years, however I am eligible for reinstatement there. I now live in Alabama, am I eligible for Alabama driver's license? What do I do
You are not eligible to obtain an Alabama driver license until you clear the suspension entered by the state of Georgia. See, Code of Alabama, 1975, section 32-6-7. If you are now eligible to reinstate your license and/or privilege in the state of Georgia, then you must accomplish that issue before you apply for an Alabama driver license.
