My employer's attorney filed for I-539 COS from H-1B to B-2 on April 19th and it was approved on 27th September. I have not yet received/ misplaced the I-539 approval notice since my lawyer send notification to USCIS on Sept 21st that they are not representing me anymore and moreover I moved my residence on Sept 29th. My old I-94 is expiring on 30Nov. I have filed a request to get a copy of approval notice (with new I-94) which will take 30 days to be mailed again.
So what is it that you want to do?
Continue being a tourist? study? open a business?
Answer will depend on what you want to do next.
Did you update your new address with USCIS? If not, it probably went to your old address. You attorney may have received a copy of the approval (even if they withdrew, USCIS sometimes messes up and still sends an approval. Also, sometimes attorneys do not get a copy of the approval even when their G-28 is recognized).
This is not legal advice. This response does not establish an attorney-client relationship.
