My husband signed for 8 yrs. & 5 yrs. Probation. Charges for non-aggravated burglary of a building, theft of a firearm & parole violation. Just wondering how much time he'd actually have to serve before coming up for parole ?
Parole is decided by the Board of Pardons & Parole, and is discretionary. Once your husband is transferred to a TDC facility, his estimated parole date will be listed on the TDCJ website. Good luck.
He has no minimum but you can check this website for factors they consider in giving parole: http://www.tdcj.state.tx.us/bpp/parole_guidelines/parole_guidelines.html
