My boyfriend had his first meeting with his probation officer last tuesday he was 17mins late getting there he thought his meeting was at a certain time and it wasnt, when he got there he had a warrant out for his arrest for entering someone's property just to ask if that person was home, but right before they took him to jail his probation officer made him take a urine test it came back him using THC and COC how much time is he looking at he has other things that he is in trouble for but they are all misdameanors or however you spell it, they are for boune checks but all of those took place before he got on probation
He can be sentenced to the statutory maximum depending on his crime. I have no idea what his offense was, so it is challenging for me to give you an idea of what he is looking at. The judge can also just give him a slap on the wrist and tell him to shape up depending on how he has been reporting wise. I would hire someone local to help advocate for him when he sees his back judge. Good luck!

As my colleague stated, it depends on what the maximum penalty is for the underlying offense. The marijuana in his system is sometimes not as big of a deal on your first visit, because it may have already been in his system before he was on probation. The fact that there was a warrant for another offense is a bigger deal. The fact that he was late to see his probation officer will start him off on the wrong note with his probation officer.
