A used tire dealer sold me 4 used tires. I went back becauae the tires were too big. He replaced those tires with 2 of MY OWN TIRES THAT I BROUGHT IN BEFORE and 2 other used tires. Furthermore the two tires OF MINE he put back on my vehicle have tread at 2/32 which is unsafe for roadways and on this particular day the roads were slick and still snowing. I paid 140.00 for the 4 tires. What do i sue for and how much?
You don't allege that you were in an accident, and assuming you can identify the two tires as yours, as far as I can tell the most you're out is $70. It wouldn't seem worthwhile to sue. See a local attorney for a specific review of your situation.

There is almost no damages in your case. The costs to file a small claims suit hover around $175-$200 (including service).
If you are adamant about filing a lawsuit, it would be a small claims case. I handle small claim suits on a regular basis and I would be more than happy to speak to you about the process to help you on your way. That being said, it is likely not in your best interest to do so because the amount of time is not worth the damages.
