A family member was charged with felonies - aggravated battery/peace officer, resisting arrest and burglary. He was given electronic monitoring and was on house arrest for 10 months. He just violated his house arrest by leaving for several days but turned himself in. He is now being charged with escape.
How much jail time can he get? Could he be deported? He is a legal permanent resident.
He is an excellent candidate for expedited removal by the ICE. It is not a matter of if he would be removed, it is a matter of when.
