I had a smart start in home device and I have lost the entire device. I had it in a bag and don't know if it was stolen or left somewhere. I'm trying to figure out about the cost and process to avoid problems with my probation. Please help!
Just call the closest Smart Start and ask them.

Whatever they say with regard to the cost, DO NOT STICK YOUR HEAD IN THE SAND and hope it goes away. Make it happen. To minimize the problems with probation you should take care of it ASAP. If you have to wait until Friday for payday then get on the phone with your probation officer this afternoon and tell them what happened, what you plan to do about it, and when the new device will be in place. If you get voicemail then leave a detailed message for your supervision officer and also send a follow-up email.
