I am the plaintiff in a suit; the case has been adjourned three times already? Is there a limit?
Like so many answers, the correct answer is "it depends."
What part of the case? What venue? What judge? What reason? All those questions and more can alter the answer. I presume that you have an attorney. They would be in the best position to know.

In the first case I tried, the trial finally started one year to the day after the case had been marked final -- "final" meaning no further adjournments. Does that answer your question?
Yes, at the end of the day there are any number of factors that impact upon the question you ask. All things being equal, the Judge is likely to be the final determiner as to any solid end date.
