My husband got an insb criminal trespass charge for $1500.
This is not a citation that he can just sit out. $1,500 is his bond amount, not his fine. It's either an A or B misdemeanor, which means his fine could be up to $4,000 and his maximum sentence could be a year in jail. If you cannot afford to post his bond, he will remain in custody until his case is resolved.

If the bond on your husband's case was declared insufficient and a new bond set at $1500, that does not mean he must serve out a $1500 fine. Has a final judgment been entered? Talk with his attorney. Good luck.
