I'm on 3 years felony probation for a possession for sales charge. I have not checked in for the last 2 months because i was unable to attend classes.
It may not be too long, but it could also be quite a few weeks. I would want to know your prior criminal history and more details about the case first.
Can't accurately predict as it depends on many factors, including your history. Suggest consulting wit your original attorney for more information and advice.
If this is your first PV you could receive anything from a reprimand from the judge or a short time in custody. Only your attorney who knows the facts of your case can give you a more specific answer.
I definitely think you will lesson the punishment if you walk in the front door as opposed to being escorted in by the bailiff from the lock-up. You also need a reason why 1) you didn't attend classes 2) custody will be harmful to you and family. Facing this with a lawyer will increase your chances of success as well as attending classes. Attending a few online recovery sessions and getting proof would be a good start. Go to LifeRing.org for info on what they offer online.
