I received a speeding ticket (29mph over the limit) in May of 2008. I went to the DMV in April of this year to get my driving record and this conviction is still there. How long before it is cleared?
This was from an Illinois State police trooper, if that helps.
A petty speeding conviction will never come off your Illinois driving record . That's how a conviction works, and why it's important to avoid a conviction in the first place.
I'm sorry to say, but it will not come off.
