me and ex agreed a settlement in divorce and child custody.. when final orders are written my ex started contradicting her agreement and asked for changes.. during entry of judgement the judge didnt agree for any changes.. when will my ex can start troubling me to modify the orders .. or will she file modification once the final judgement is ordered..
A party is supposed to wait at least one year on custody issues and meet other requirements. On child support, three years plus other requirements. I’ve answered your question, but my advice is to not worry about this possibility until it happens. Also, it may never happen. Don’t talk to her or accept her texts if she is threatening you with filing a motion. It is all an attempt to control you, and remember, you divorced her ass for a reason.
I am providing you with free advice that I believe to be solid with respect to the law and your particular facts. If I have insufficient facts, I will tell you so, and still give you some direction if possible. However, my initial thoughts on your matter do not establish an attorney-client relationship between us, and your face-to-face consultation with an attorney is essential to protecting your rights. I do not accept any liability for providing you with the best glimpse I can of your situation with the limited answer and question format we have. I am just trying to point you in the right direction to solving your issue(s). Thank you, Phil
