I applied for asylum in 2013, las year I got married to a citizen, we applied for adjustment of status through marriage, green card was approved and I'm a Resident since October of this year. We want to spend Christmas at his relatives in Canada but I've been told that if I leave the country I deport myself automatically, how do I withdraw the asylum application? And how long does it take for the judge to make a decision?
You can send a certified letter to the asylum office requesting your application be withdrawn because you are adjusting by other means. You may not receive a notice from the asylum office that the application has been withdrawn.
Secondly, You have stated no basis for being admitted back into the USA if you leave. I do not suggest you leave the USA until you have your green card.
