The answer depends on where you are in the eviction process. Have you been served with either a three day or five day notice to quit? And if so, have you filed an Answer? Hypothetically speaking, if you have not been served with either a 3 day or 5 day notice, you should be able to remain in the property for the next 14 days. Once you are served with the 5 day notice, I would suggest filing an Answer and a Motion to Stay with the court. This should buy you at least ten days.
