I had a proposed decision letter stating that i was not due payments from 2016-2017 which i actual were due payment because i didn't work and i took proof that i didn't work in 2017 so there reinstating my payments how long does that take to start payments back my payment would of been feb 3,2018 i last spoke with them friday jan 26,2018 if anybody have an ideal i would greatly appreciate it.
It is very hard to guess. I would keep calling. If you are dealing with a local office you should consider asking for the office manager to discuss the situation. If it is an emergency, you can ask the local office to release some funds right away. The office manager has authority to approve release of emergency funds.
No real exact timeframe to tell you that Social Security has to act. Just keep contacting them and if you do not get an answer over the phone, go to one of your local Social Security field offices and take a number to consult with someone in person.
