I need to be prepared in case I lose my hearing again. I lost in small claims so I appealed and I need to know how long I will have to vacate the property if I lose again.
If you lose, the eviction is effective immediately...the landlord can go get a writ of possession the next day. The only thing that would stop the eviction is an appeal to the NC Court of Appeals and the payment of an appeal bond. I would not recommend this unless you have good grounds for an appeal.
