I am in a constant custody and visitation I lost my child to her father in court in octor the appeal was today how long do I have to wait to go back to juvenile and re fill
In order to modify a custody/visitation order, you have to show that there has been a "material change in circumstances" since the entry of the order. It is highly unlikely that you are going to be able to prove that there has been some sort of material change in such a short period of time which would warrant the court to revisit the custody/visitation order and modify it.
I recommend consulting with a family law attorney who can assess your case in more depth and provide you with your options going forward.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
