OK i was out driving an me an my passenger arrived at a two way stop where its a stop sign on each side of the rode one in front of us an one in front of the car in front of us an we was going left with my signal on an i usually stop an look left to right twice an in front of me as well no cars was coming from my left or right so i notice it was a car coming toward me but i didn't really wait on the car to stop i really just assumed that she was going to stop because it was a stop sign in front of her so i started to turn left an she ran the stop sign slamming into my back passenger door knocking my passenger unconscious an she has diabetes as well so she seemed to be in a panic attack as she came back to an was rushed to the hospital an this was on the 2nd of September an they put us in therapy but its hard for us to get there as of now with no car an both of us are disabled an i was told that it seems as if we have to sue her because her insurance told me that i need a witness in order for them to pay for my car an that the police report is the police opinion..
Get an attorney. If she was going that fast she would have had to run through the sign and caused the accident. Look for witnesses and possible video cameras nearby.
Because every case is different, there is no way to say for sure how long it will take for your case to get resolved, but if the insurance company is disputing liability, you will almost certainly need to file a lawsuit.
If you do not have an attorney, you need to contact a personal injury attorney immediately. Most firms will not charge you anything unless they collect for you. Don't wait. Call Now.
No representation is made that the quality of the legal services to be performed is greater than the quality of legal services performed by other lawyers.
At this point, it’s impossible to say how long your case may take. There are a number of potential ways to prove that the other driver caused the wreck. The insurance company may just be pushing back to see if you’ll just give up without a fight. My advice is for you to contact an attorney right away for a free consultation so you can get the help you need. Best wishes.
Legal matters can be complex. The answer of the attorney to your question is for general informational purposes and is based on the information that has been provided. By answering this question, the attorney has not agreed to represent you and no attorney/client relationship has been created. The Alabama Rules of Professional Conduct require the following: "No representation is made that the quality of the legal services to be performed is greater than the quality of legal services performed by other lawyers."
