You do not have to wait a moment or you can wait a year.
The issue now is whether or not anyone finds your latest complaint credible.
If so then they will take action and if not then they won't.
People recant for many reasons, just as there are many explanations for why they try to reinstate charges.
Anyhow it's not my call... it's up to the cops or the State.
