I am on CPT (doing my 2nd masters). My F-1 visa has expired. I am maintaining my status through my 2nd masters. I am graduating this August, so irrespective of my H-1B application gets picked in the lottery, I have to leave in August. So, my question is do I have a grace period once my status expires? If so, how long can I stay before leaving the country?
Since you are CPT, you you have up to a 60 days grace period to get your affairs in order after the CPT expires.
