My husband was arrested for a warrant he had for revoking his probation in Brown county. He has been in hardin county for 2 weeks now and nobody seems to no anything. Is there something I should be doing to move this along, how long will they hold him?
You need to contact his attorney about getting the matter moving. The county has the right to hold an inmate on an out of county fugitive warrant subject to statute. Your attorney has the right to redocket the case in your District Court for bond relief or for a timetable in which the requesting authorties have to come pick up the prisoner.or request that the fugitive warrant be dismissed. Depending on the client's wishes, he can waive extration and agree to return to the requesting county.
