I got arrested in Auburn NY, and was charged with a misdemeanor for petit larceny of $29 worth of groceries and was given a DAT. I went to the court and my public defender pled not guilty even though I was. She requested an ADT and the judge asked me if it was my first offense and I told him yes and he gave me a day to come back on a later date to talk about granting me an ACD. I am 19 years old from New York City but I am currently staying in Auburn NY for school. How likely is it that I'll get granted an ACD? Can I leave the county and go back to the Bronx if I have an ACD?
I would say the chances are good. You should talk to your attorney to see if there is anything you can do to improve your chances. Good luck.

Your attorney would know better than us, but it sounds like your chances are excellent.

I agree that your chances of receiving an ACD are strong. As to your other question, yes you can travel freely within the country while on the ACD.
