I am the beneficiary of a trust that became irrevocable when the remaining settler died. The trust states all assets are to be distributed outright. My brother who is trustee is ignoring requests for information such as bank statements, etc and to get an appraisal on the family home and put it on the market.
I want to file a petition in probate court to compel him to give me the info I requested 6mos ago and to administer the trust.
If he ignores the court order, how do I enforce it?
You can petition to have him removed. You’ll probably need counsel.
This is general advice. You are anonymous. If you PM me i won’t know what it’s about.
Your attorney may file petition including:
-to enforce order;
-removal of trustee;
