I don't know what the charges are but a quick summary would be... my boyfriend entered his friends apartment without consent of his friend, however he did tell his friend he was going there but his friend never answered... so now he enters the friends house (door was unlocked) and now the friend is saying he is missing $2000 after my boyfriend went in there.... the friend does have a camera in which my boyfriend touched but there is no evidence he took the money..... i don't know what this would classify as i know definitely a felony.... but what punishments are we looking at in this situation with a first time offender? We did get him a attorney.
It depends on what they believe he did, the top charge I would think they could hit him with could be Burglary in the Second Degree for unlawfully entering a dwelling with the intention of committing a crime.
