My adoptive dad (my uncle) rapped me for 6 years but it stopped a year ago.. But the other night he came back in my room and tried to do it again. So I finally spoke up & told the police. How is this going to be proven? Nobody in my house believes me. It happened I my sister as well just not to the extent that it happened to me. But she is satin I never happened. I've already talked to the child advocate center & so has she. But how do the police prove something like this with just my word against everyone else?..
I need more information in order to answer the question. Are you a minor? How old are you? You need to seek legal counsel from a local attorney with litigation experience. There are rape kit tests that can be performed depending upon what was done to you (what you mean by rape). It would also be a good idea to speak with a mental health professional. Going through something like that for six years is not going to simply be fixed through litigation. It is important that you get both legal help as well as medical help to deal with these issues.
