How does someone get sued and get garnished for medical bills when their child has Medicaid as their primary insurance?
My child has been on Medicaid since November of 2015. He got sick and I took him to the hospital a couple days after his birthday in June of 2016 . In April of 2017 the sheriff served me papers that I had been sued by the hospital. Then in August of 2017 they started garnishing my paycheck.
