My son got into an argument with his girlfriend at a local bus station across the street from our apartment. The security officers were told by my son & his girlfriend there wasn't a problem. He then exchanged words with the security guard who came from the side of his girlfriend and pushed him. My son then punches the security guard after he pushes him above his vest. The security guard then puts my son into a head lock while another security officer comes from behind to pull my son down to the ground and handcuff him. During this time verbal insults and inappropriate comments by security were exchanged between my son and transit officers Custard & Kilby. For more than an hour & a half my son was left lying on his chest handcuffed until 10-15mins before Metro Police arrived. He has been seen in the ER now 3x because of difficulty breathing, chest wall contusions, a cervical and lumbosacral strains due to security kneeling down on him with his knee on my son's neck & back. We have been contacted by the AGL Senior Claims Representative of ESIS. This incident did happen in view of the surveillance cameras and there is a min and 43 second video taken by another passenger.
