Money received by the child is one variable used in its calculation
NOTE: The use of the Internet for communications with the firm or this attorney will not establish an attorney-client relationship and messages containing confidential or time-sensitive information should not be sent.
It would really depend on what the money is for and from whom. For example, social security the child received due to the child's disability does not count; however, if a child has an annuity for example which goes to pay for their living expenses that can be considered. I would suggest getting an attorney to make sure it is done correctly.
The money received to benefit the child may be used as an offset for child support owed. It is not considered income for that parent. It may also depend on the parenting plan you and she decide upon as well.
