Hi, I am getting a divorce and although I have completed most forms, I need to check I am doing the calculation right.
My husband and I, are both self employed (taxes filed seperately), and I came across part A. So the gross total income is 23,095, and has a self employed deduction of 1632 (based on 2017 taxes), do I just write in 23,095 in part A 1 or do I need to specify the deduction at this point?
Also when filling out UD 10 divorce form, it asks for gross adjusted income after maintenance has been taken out. it asks for net income in appendix G (which I can work out, but in ud 10 asks for the above information, however on instructions, it says fill out the same. I don't want to fill out the same when one says net and one says gross adjusted income after maintenance. In any case, there is no deduction for maintenance, but child support will be taken up. Please could someone help x
This is not a tax law question. I am changing the category of your question to "Child Support" so you will get more responses.
