The owner of the trailer park we currently reside in owns the lot only which we pay for every month at 150.00 dollars. We own the trailer outright. We have had a complete failure of the sewer system. The problem I feel lies at her door step so to speak. We are unable to use the washer, dishwasher, toilets, showers due to the sewage backing up into the showers and overflowing toilets. What is underground is her responsibility. We are only responsible for point of hook-up to the trailer.
You can file what is called a rent rebate claim. The lot owner is responsible for providing a habitable living space, so if there is a problem with accessing the water/sewage system it is her responsibility to get it fixed. You can file a rent rebate claim, which is to sue her to get a portion of the lot rent you've paid her back.
Depending on the details of how long you've been at the property, and the terms of your agreement you may be able to get moving costs, but it is extremely unlikely.
