I paid my bound and came out of mesa verde on December 04. however my first court was scheduled for December 18 at san francisco. It is I who must transfer my case to Seattle or it will be transferred automatically. Since my sponsor is in Seattle.
The Court will not automatically transfer your case. A motion will have to be filed with the Court in San Francisco. I recommend you reach out to an attorney immediately to help you with that. You can an immigration attorney from anywhere in the country, but I recommend reaching out to one in the Seattle area so they can continue representing you.
The above is only general information, and does not constitute legal advice.
I agree with my colleague. You must file a change of venue motion with the immigration court. Have an attorney help.
