i have a 1994 Toyota 4 runner that is paid off and the title is in my name, i was selling it to a co-worker so i could buy a jeep I've always wanted. but because my co-worker never gave me money for the 4 runner i lost the jeep and i need that one back. but he is refusing to give me the car back because he fixed some issues with it but he never asked to fix. hes expecting me to pay him for that and for the little amount of money he has given me which us roughly $400 when i asked for $2500. I'm only 19 and hes a 40 year old man, i was trying to help him and be patient for the 3 month hes had it but i can't wait anymore.
You have no legal right to unilaterally cancel a contract after entering into it. You do not state that it was conditional. Your buyer is being fair in wanting to be made whole but he has no such obligation to return it on demand.
