this is my first affiance, last year I bought a new car and due to being hacked on all my accounts my insurance was not getting paid. Then in sept of 2018 I got into a small accident with no updated insurance I had a court date, but missed it and now have a warrant. I also no longer have the car due to it being repossessed and loosing my job doesn't help I just want to get this taken care of what I do???
If you missed court and there is an outstanding warrant, then you will have to resolve the warrant before your case can proceed further. In that regard, you can either turn yourself into the jail and post the warrant amount (you might be able to call the jail or check online at gotwarrants.org to determine the warrant amount), or risk coming into contact with law enforcement and having the warrant served at an inopportune time, going to jail, and trying to post bond then. Absent the most compelling reasons, no one will negotiate with you to resolve the warrant without it getting served and you going to jail to be booked, regardless of whether you can post the bond. If you can't post the bond, you should have court the next business day where a judge will review your case and set bond.
