I put a phone bill under my name for me and a friend. However the monthly payments weren't being met so I canceled the service. Now they are sending me a bill for her actual phone and her half of the bill. I've been reaching out to her for 5 months trying to get her to start paying for it and she still hasn't even put a dollar towards it.
If it is less than $5,000 you can sue in Small Claims Court. You can get information and forms on-line.
