I reside in Georgia and the company is based out of California, I was contacted by the law group once the loan became delinquent and I was reassured each step of the way they were on top of things. My home was sold on the courthouse steps. They mishandled the case the entire time and blamed each other after the fact.
You should see a real estate attorney about this. If you lost your home the claim could be large. I think there are a lot of facts you haven't mentioned, however. "they . . . blamed each other." Who are these parties? When your loan became delinquent, they reassured you that they would do exactly what? Did you send someone money to cure the delinquency?
If your property was in Georgia then the company or law group you dealt with may be someone you could sue in Georgia. A real estate lawyer can give you more guidance.
